Cheryl Cole Escapes To Los Angeles

Cheryl Cole jetted off to Los Angeles yesterday – without her wedding ring.

The Girls Aloud star had returned to the UK this week to ‘make-or-break’ her marriage to footballer Ashley Cole, following reports of his infidelity.

However, with Cheryl again fleeing the country sans ring, it looks like Ashley’s got the axe just before his Chelsea team appears in the Carling Cup Final at Wembley tomorrow.

A source tells The Sun, “It is a bitterly disappointing blow for Ashley, who had hoped Cheryl would make a peace offering by going.”

The paper reports it’s just Cheryl who’s dropped Ashley – apparently Chelsea boss Avram Grant has also overlooked the defender for the team’s match against local rivals Spurs.
