Aaron Carter Arrested For Drug Possesion

Popstar Aaron Carter has been arrested for marijuana possession after he was pulled over on Thursday (21/02/07) for speeding in Texas.

The younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter was in jail in Junction Texas, awaiting a Friday morning appearance before a magistrate, Kimble County Sheriff Mike Chapman tells People.

Having been initially been stopped for speeding, 20-year old Aaron’s Cadillac Escalade was then searched by police who found at least two ounces of marijuana.

  • Texas is not a great place to get busted... really strict anti marijuana laws.. bunch of rednecks anyway.. decriminalize marijuana!! join the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML)

  • the NORML guys is correct, Texas is a bad place to get busted. However, the laws here have changed recently, much better than 6 months or so ago, and he has money so I'm sure he will be ok. But I do feel sorry for him, and everyone else ever busted with Marijuana, especially in Texas. Join NORML, or a similar group and lets get the word out. When was the last time you heard of a car accident or overdose resulting from Marijuana? Now, compare that to other drugs or even beer or wine for example.
