Jennifer Lopez has checked into North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, New York ahead of her birth, claim reports.

A New York gossip column maintain that the singer and hubby Marc Anthony have officially occupied a room that has “been sitting empty for two weeks."

A fellow patient also revealed that she overheard excited staff members exclaiming, "J.Lo is here," early on Wednesday morning.

The couple went public with the baby news during a concert in Miami, Florida late last year Lopez' father confirmed his daughter was expecting twins last month.
