Cheryl Cole allowed cheating husband just one hour to beg for forgiveness yesterday – before heading off to the Brits minus her wedding ring.

The pair’s secret summit was their first meeting since the singer fled to Thailand almost three weeks ago – but it seems that the love-rat footballer still has a way to go before he's back in Cheryl's good books.

A source told The Sun: “Cole knew this was his last chance, but he still hasn’t been forgiven. Just a couple of hours before the Brits (see pictures here) they had a showdown and Cheryl was a wreck.

Thankfully, Cheryl was able to pull herself together sufficiently to steal the show on the Brits red carpet in a stunning Canary yellow dress that set off her tanned and toned physique.
