The hospital where Jennifer Lopez is due to give birth has played down kidnap fears.

Staff at North Shore Medical Center in Long Island have been taking part in a Code Pink security drill, which involves locking down the hospital in the event that a baby goes astray.

However, the hospital has denied that Jennifer may be the subject of a kidnap attempt.

Bosses insist the timing of the drill was "coincidental" and nothing to do with the Latina diva’s imminent stay.
