Controversial I’m A Celebrity couple Cerys Matthews and Marc Bannerman have split up.
Ex-Catatonia front woman Cerys dumped the former Eastenders star just two days before Valentine’s Day.
Despite the pair getting together in a blaze of publicity after falling for each other on the hit ITV show, Cerys is said to have quickly gone off the idea after settling down to her normal life in Wales again with her kids, and now wants to refocus on her singing career.
A source tells the Sunday Mirror, “The passion fizzled out and they've hardly seen each other in the last month. All the talk of having babies and settling down turned to dust.
"She realised the relationship was going nowhere and wants to concentrate on her tour, so she told Marc they were finished this week."
Marc’s mother Dolores confirms to the paper, “It's finished with Cerys. He's very upset, very down."
However, Marc has already been warned off trying to pick himself up by skulking back to his ex, Sarah Matravers, who he dumped after meeting Cerys.
"If Marc thinks he can go crawling back to Sarah, he's much too late. She's loved up and planning a new future." a source explains.
Sounds like Marc’s gloomy prediction that he would end up alone as he drove away from the Australian jungle last year is to be proved correct after all!
