Britney Spears’ father has received more fire power after a Los Angeles judge extended his temporary control over the troubled-singer's legal and financial affairs until March 10.
L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz - who originally appointed Jamie Spears conservator of his daughter's estate, agreed that Spears Snr - should continue taking charge of the singer's affairs in a hearing on Thursday.
Spears' dad has shared responsibility for the troubled pop-star's affairs with court-appointed observer Andrew Wallet since February 1.
Meanwhile, as Jamie battled it out in court, the pop-tart's mother Lynne, was spotted heading out of town at Los Angeles International Airport Thursday.
