Amy Winehouse’s brother believes his troubled sister is well on the way to beating her drug demons.
The Back to Black singer is currently receiving in-patient treatment for her addictions but took time out to perform via satallite for the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, during which she picked up an impressive five gongs.
And brother Alex says that his sister was back to her "bright and vivacious" self during her break from rehab.
He reveals: "Detox was tough, but she did it. She was as bright and vivacious as she had been before her demons took over. It (the night of the Grammys) was without a doubt the greatest night our family has enjoyed in a long, long time.
"For the first time in God knows how long, my parents were truly happy, and Amy was too."
Alex insists that Amy is no longer tempted to reach for the crack-pipe - always a good sign.
He adds: "She didn't miss crack, she told me, and she was glad to be rid of it. Which was a nice thing to hear."
Wino is certainly looking in better shape than she has for a long time - here she is at London Fashion Week with new, 'Gay' Blake.
