Britney Spears is committed to getting her life back on track, claims a friend of the troubled pop-tart.

Robert Baker, the director of the Millennium Dance Complex where Spears has been training over the last few weeks, claims that Spears is “focused” on putting her turbulent past behind her.

"She seems very focused about getting back into her old life," Baker told People.com. "[She's] focusing her energy on creating and dancing."

Baker also revealed details about the Gimme More singer’s hour long dance class – where she coached a group of six eager children.

"The class was amazing," he added. "She even played age-appropriate games in a circle, pretending to be a choo-choo train.

”Britney was just amazing with the kids and everyone ended up having a blast. At the end of the hour class, all the kids hugged Britney and she seemed very happy."

According to Baker the 26-year-old was more than willing to take on more students.

"She asked to please teach a class tomorrow," said Baker, a longtime Spears friend. "We plan to put together a group of about 20 kids for her."
