Scarlett Johansson has once again quashed rumors that she’s engaged to actor Ryan Reynolds.

The Lost In Translation star, who has been dating actor Reynolds for nearly a year, fuelled speculation that she was set to wed after she was spotted looking at wedding dresses in Los Angeles.

However, men around the world can rest assured because it's Johansson's relative who is preparing to walk down the aisle, and not the actress.

"A family member is getting married, not her,” said a rep for the actress. “She is not engaged."

Earlier this year the 23-year-old star denied reports that the Definitely, Maybe hunk - who was once engaged to Alanis Morissette - had proposed to her, with her spokesperson claiming there was "no truth" to the story.
