Debbie Rowe has given a candid interview about her relationship with Michael Jackson, claiming it was her idea to cover up their children’s faces.

Both Prince Michael and Paris were photographed without their omni-present veil across their features last week, but according to the former nanny it was her, not the eccentric pop singer, who insisted on the cover up.

She tells The Mail, “The veils were my idea, not Michael's. I had kidnap threats when they were babies. I did not want them to be recognised. I'm not happy they've been photographed without the veils."

However, Rowe – who confirms she delivered the children after being artificial insemination – says she still has a good and close relationship with Michael and the kids, despite her split from Jackson after what most people regarded as a 'sham marriage'.

“Michael and I are fine. I see him and the kids all the time. They live in Las Vegas now, just a three-hour drive away.

"Michael and I have always got on. I only divorced him because I wanted my life back. I couldn't cope with the constant pressure of fame.

“He's the genius, the famous one. Not me. I turned out two good-looking kids, but I can't sing, I can't dance."
