Newly published accounts show rocker Pete Doherty failed to make £30,000 in profits last year.

Despite the release of a new Babyshambles album and accompanying nationwide stadium tour, accounts show Doherty cleared just £29,161.

Sources tell The Mirror that despite Doherty’s fame, the tour in particular failed to rake in any cash after high crew costs were hardly offset by high crew costs.

The paper reports the state of the band’s finances are so precarious Pete was forced to pull out of a planned video shoot recently after telling a venue their £300 fee was too expensive.
