Britney Spears’ father has made more moves in court to control the singer’s affairs, despite her leaving psychiatric care against his wishes earlier this week.

Jamie Spears has been granted a court order allowing him to fire Britney’s business manager Howard Grossman, which also compels him to “turn over all documents, records, and assets relating to Britney Spears".

The court papers, published on the TMZ.com website, show that Jamie is desperate to sort out his daughter’s affairs as best he can, after being made conservator over her estate following her admittance to hospital.

Despite Britney’s decision to check out of the UCLA Medical Center against his and mother Lynne’s wishes on Wednesday, a Los Angeles judge yesterday ruled Jamie should remain in temporary control of her affairs.
