Madonna put in an age-defying appearance at Wednesday night’s ‘A Night to Benefit Raising Malawi and UNICEF’ bash at the United Nations in New York.

All eyes were Madge's new face as the 49-year-old singer hit the red-carpet with daughter Lourdes.

Her wide-eyed and taut features appeared to confirm recent speculation that she’s had a little surgical help in a bid to turn back the clock.

Just last month, the Hung Up singer renewed gossip that she had succumbed to plastic surgery when she emerged from a London hotel wearing shades that failed to disguise a black eye.

In December, the facelift rumours were also flying when she was spotted leaving a New York medical centre with matching shiners.

At the time, the singer's rep, Liz Rosenberg, quashed the surgery reports, insisting,  “I saw her over the weekend and she looked the same to me."
