Elle MacPherson is keeping tight-lipped over reports she is dating artist/filmmaker Julian Schnabel’s 21-year-old son.

The 44-year-old former model has been romantically linked to art dealer Vito Schnabel in recent weeks, but will only admit she's close with "all the Schnabels".

When asked at the New York Fashion Week party on Tuesday if the rumours were true, a coy  MacPherson replied: "It makes for good newspaper stuff, doesn't it? I'm good friends with Julian and all the Schnabels. They're friends of the family."
