Britney Spears’ so-called manager Sam Lutfi has admitted to medicating the troubled pop star.

Lutfi was hit with a restraining order by the Brit's parents, Jamie and Lynne, last week amid claims he verbally abused and drugged the singer.

But rather than deny the allegations, Brit’s longtime companion confessed to giving the singer “miracle pills” to help her sleep.

He tells Us Weekly, he gave the star "a handful of pills" shortly before her parents arrived at her L.A. home to take her to UCLA Medical Center, recalling, "I said these pills are working wonders, they are miracle pills."

In a declaration released earlier this week, the pop star's mother alleged:  "Sam told me that he grinds up Britney's pills, which were on the counter and included (sleeping medication) Risperdol (sic) and Seroquel.

"He told us that he puts them in her food and that was the reason she had been quiet for the last three days.

"She had been sleeping. He told us that the doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma so that they could give her drugs to heal her brain."

Brit was released from the psych ward of UCLA Medical Center yesterday, against the wishes of her parents.
