Michelle Williams and her two-year-old daughter Matilda have touched down in Perth, Australia ahead of Heath Ledger’s final burial.

Sporting a black dress and dark shades, the former Dawson’s Creek star was quickly ushered away from the waiting press by police officers and airport security.

Williams – who attended a second memorial service for her ex fiancee in Los Angeles on Saturday – was later seen entering Heath's mother’s Applecross home.

Australian media report that a private funeral for the Brokeback Mountain star – who was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on January 22 – is due to take place later this week.

Williams released a statement late last week requesting that the press respect her need to grieve privately.
