Britney Spears' hospital stay has been extended to 14-days, following the advice of her psychiatrist.
The Gimme More singer was originally placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold; however sources now reveal the singer’s stay has been extended at the Resnick Neuropsychiatric wing of the UCLA Medical Center.
People.com report that the 26-year-old – who was placed in psychiatric care following an intervention by her shrink and family members – could be released earlier if she legally requests to be discharged or the doctor sees improvement.
The troubled-singer’s father, Jamie has won temporary control of her legal and financial affairs following an emergency court hearing on Friday.
