K-Fed: 'I Want Britney To Get Better'

Sources close to Kevin Federline have come forth claiming that the wannabe rapper is “worried” about Britney Spears following her hospitalization on Thursday morning.

K-Fed - who is currently embroiled in a bitter custody battle with Spears – reportedly told friends that the psychiatric hospital is the best place for the Gimme More singer. 

“[He] doesn't want her to get out until she's made progress," the source told People.com. "This is obviously going to help her in the end – later, much later."

“He's worried,” added the insider. “He doesn't even know what's going to happen next."

The source also claims that Federline – who was accused of sleeping with Britney’s mother by the pop-star herself –wants the mother of his children to get better.

"Kevin legitimately wants Britney to get better” says the friend. “He wants her to be in their sons' lives. He wants them to have a loving relationship. He wants her to get healthy so she can be the mother they need and deserve."

The Toxic hitmaker was taken to the hospital on a metal health order after concern about the singer's erratic behaviour was raised by her psychiatrist.

The 26-year-old was previously admitted to L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center earlier this month after a three-hour custody stand-off with police, and was held for two days on a '5150 hold' order, meaning medics have reason to believe she is a danger to herself or others.

The report by the U.S. publication concludes by adding that yet-another source claims that Spears’ hospitlization "has been planned for a long time. Her family is behind this."
