'Heath Ledger Feared Drugs Would Kill Him'

Another shady character has come forward with tales of Heath Ledger’s alleged drug use.

Nightclub-owner, John-Bruce Shoemaker, claims he took cocaine with Ledger at his Prague nightclub, Marquis De Sade, in 2000 and 2003 - when the Aussie star was in the Czech capital shooting A Knight's Tale and The Brothers Grimm .

He tells the National Enquirer, "I supplied him with cocaine and we did it together. There were lots of beautiful girls in my club, but he was only interested in drugs."

And Shoemaker claims Ledger once told him, "If I'm not careful, this stuff would kill me."

These latest claims come just a week after the 28-year-old actor was found dead in his New York apartment from an apparent drugs overdose.

Toxicology results due in the next week are expected to confirm the cause of death.
