After yet another public breakdown and a dramatic family reunion to match, Britney Spears has been reunited with mother Lynne, in what appears to be a last ditch effort to save the former pop-princess.

Accompanied by producer-pal Sam Lufti and Chad Hardcastle, the mother-and-daughter appeared at around 1:30 a.m, with Lynne driving Spears to Longs Drugs in Studio City.

The pair later surfaced – as did the paparazzi – carrying a mysterious brown bag.

The 26-year-old – who was awarded a minor custody victory on Monday – appeared less than impressed with the standard frenzy of flashing bulbs that stood before her.

Earlier on, Spears was involved in a heated row with producer-pal Sam Lutfi, which sparked another very public meltdown.

It’s believed that an argument erupted over her on/off relationship with paparazzo boy-toy, Adnan Ghalib - which later resulted in Spears fleeing a family reunion.

According to a U.S. publication, the Toxic singer “bolted from the mansion” and reunited with Ghalib – who was rejected from the pop-wreck’s estate earlier under specific instructions from Lufti.
