Miley Cyrus is following in the footsteps of P Diddy - sorry, Sean John - by changing her name.

The 15-year-old Hannah Montana starlet will now be known as Miley Ray Cyrus (after her father, Billy Ray Cyrus), according to ETonline.

This isn’t the fickle star’s first change of name - Miley was actually born Destiny Hope Cyrus but adopted her childhood nickname of 'Smiley' which evolved into Miley.

It was reported earlier this month that P Diddy - who has been known at various stages in his career as Puff Daddy, Puffy, P Diddy and just plain old Diddy - now wants to be referred to by his real moniker, Sean John.
