Hulk Hogan has described the moment he learnt that his son Nick had been involved in a car accident as his “worst nightmare.”
17-year-old Nick Bollea was deemed a dangerous driver and had his licence suspended after he crashed his car, leaving his passenger, friend John Graziano, needing nursing care for the rest of his life.
Hulk said of receiving the dreaded phone call informing him of the smash: "That is your worst nightmare as a parent, to hear there's been a car wreck.”
"Thank God, everything's getting better - Nick's doing OK, his buddy John Graziano is getting better everyday. Thank God."
We wonder if the family of John Graziano – who has shown signs of improvement but has still not spoken and can't breathe without the help of a machine – would share those sentiments.
Nick has been charged with reckless driving involving serious bodily injury and will be tried as an adult when his case reaches court.
