Police have confirmed they are not planning to interview Mary-Kate Olsen over Heath Ledger’s death this week.
As we told you yesterday, the masseuse who discovered the actor’s body at his New York apartment phoned Olsen four times, even contacting the actress before the emergency services.
However, the NYPD have confirmed Olsen - who is described as having a “casual, non-exclusive relationship” with Ledger - will not be part of their investigation into Ledger’s untimely passing.
Detective Joseph Cavitolo tells People.com, "Absolutely at no time are we going to be interviewing her. We never had any plans to interview her.
“At this point we are just waiting for the Medical Examiner's report."
