Lynne Spears Heading For Britney-Style Meltdown?

The stress of dealing with fallout from her daughters' ill-thought-out behaviour has got friends worried that Lynne Spears may be on the verge of a breakdown.

In the two months, Lynne’s daughter Britney has had access to her two boys taken away by an L.A. court following a police stand-off at her home, and also learnt that her youngest Jamie Lynn is pregnant.

Now those close to Lynne are saying that recent events are taking their toll on the stage mom, who has been talking "incoherently" and "seems like she’s about to have a breakdown."

One friend tells The National Enquier. “All her friends are worried about her. She seems to be trying so hard to pull her daughters together, but things seem to be getting worse.”

Lynne is said to feel angry with herself for believing Jamie Lynn's claims that she wasn't sleeping with boyfriend and (rumoured) baby-daddy Casey Aldridge.

“Jamie Lynn told her mom they weren’t doing anything, and Lynne didn’t push it," continues the source.

"Three months later, Jamie Lynn was pregnant. Lynne is kicking herself for not probing more.

“When she asked Jamie Lynn why she didn’t ask for birth control pills, Jamie Lynn said she thought the pill would make her fat.”
