It’s claimed that the short-lived non-marriage between Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds came to an abrupt end because they couldn’t come to a pre-nuptial agreement.
Eddie and Tracey had a tropical 'wedding' in Bora Bora, although the ceremony wasn't legally binding because only residents can get married on the island.
Insiders say that the pre-nup was the sticking point that prevented the couple from making their vows official.
Tracey apparently wanted half of Eddie’s assets in the event of a split, but the Norbit actor was, understandably, less keen on the idea.
Sources close to Eddie’s non-wife, tell PageSix.com: "When it came down to the legal marriage, Tracey wouldn't sign a prenup."
The actor’s reps refuse to comment.
