Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs is now facing four eyewitness accounts accusing him of assaulting a man at a post-Oscars bash last year.
The witnesses give accounts in papers filed in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday of the rap mogul striking Gerard Rechnitzer in an unprovoked fashion.
One, Marianna Ruiz, says, “I just kind of remember seeing him go flying, not flying as in like feet off the ground, but he went back significantly.
“I was just in shock that somebody would ... just kind of strike somebody out of nowhere."
Another witness Michael Sherman has Diddy hitting Rechnitzer back into a taxi, then trying to spit on Ruiz.
Rechnitzer filed his suit for unspecified damages in Los Angeles Superior Court last year, following the alleged incident outside Roosevelt Hotel’s Teddy’s on the 25th February.
According to Combs’ attorneys the suit is "completely baseless" and claim in their own papers filed this week that their client is "in no way legally responsible for what happened to Rechnitzer."
