Prince William showed off more than his, er, flying skills as he completed his first solo flight at the RAF Cranwell in England on Wednesday.
Sporting Royal Air Force attire, the balding heir showed off his bulging trousers as he and training base head, Captain Andy Naismith, took to the air.
William - who is rumoured to be considering a royal engagement with longtime girlfriend, Kate Middleton, upon completion of flying school - later revealed that the experience was unlike any training he had undertaken before.
“I was sitting there saying, ‘Oh my, this is a bit odd. There’s no one in here” said the Prince.
“Once I’d taken off, it was fine, you just remember your checks and do all the things you have to do" he added. "It was an amazing feeling, I couldn’t believe it.”
