He may be Brad Pitt’s best friend, but according to George Clooney he's been left in the dark when it comes to Angelina Jolie’s rumoured pregnancy.

The Tombraider star – who shares three adopted kids - Maddox, six; Pax, three, and Zahara, two - and their biological child, 20-month-old Shiloh with Pitt –fuelled media speculation that she is expecting after telling In Touch Weekly magazine that she is ready to expand her brood.

Yet despite her comments sparking speculation over whether she is with child - Clooney, who insists he is none the wiser.

"I have no idea. I don't think so. I haven't heard anything," the actor told Usmagazine.com.

The actor also refused to reveal his plans for girlfriend Sarah Larson on Valentine's Day next month.

"I’m gonna..." he started, before abruptly leaving the red carpet.
