Filming on Reese Witherspoon’s new movie has been halted – and not because she and co-star Vince Vaughn have been squabbling again.

The actress has reportedly developed a painful blood blister on her eye that prevented her from working.

We understand that looking at Vince for too long in one go can do that to a person.

Reese is said to be more concerned about closing down production on Four Christmases for half a day, rather than her eye condition.

An on-set source says: "Reese kept apologising to everyone from producers to the lighting guys."

"Reese was especially concerned about Vince's reaction to her causing the work stoppage. He's not only her leading man but one of the film's producers. He was more concerned about her eye than losing a day's shoot."

Insiders claim that Reese and Vince have been clashing on set due to the Wedding Crashers star’s laid back attitude to work.

It was also reported that the pair refused to do a planned sex scene together.
