Mary J Blige has responded to reports linking her to a U.S. investigation into illegal steroid use, insisting she has never taken performance-enhancing drugs.
The singer was named and shamed by Albany County District Attorney David Soares alongside 50 Cent, Timbaland, Wyclef Jean and actor Tyler Perry for allegedly ordering steroids or human growth hormone from doctors and pharmacists.
However, Blige denies any involvement in the scandal.
Her rep tells the New York Daily News: "Mary J. Blige has never taken any performance-enhancing illegal steroids."
No evidence that the above celebrities have violated any drug laws has yet been found.
