Lawyers for Britney Spears have warned the singer to show up in court today or face the possibility of months without seeing her two boys, it’s claimed.
Sources say the singer – who has a poor track record when it comes to turning up for court – has been strongly urged to attend today’s hearing in her continuing custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline – or face the consequences.
TMZ reports that Brit will be expected to address a number of issues concerning the drama at her home last Thursday night, including why she refused to hand sons Sean Preston and Jayden James over to K-Fed at the allotted time and how she came to be whisked off to a mental ward by ambulance.
It’s thought that if wayward Brit doesn’t show for this one, the ruling banning her from visiting her boys will be extended until the April trial.
Meanwhile, law enforcement sources tell TMZ that the L.A. the Sheriff's Dept is refusing to assist Brit on her visit to court because she has been "totally uncooperative" with them in the past.
