Brits Rule The Golden Globes!

We have the winners...

Monday 14th Jan 2008

The Golden Globes went off with little fanfare last night – which was a shame really because the Brits dominated the big categories this year.

The glitzy ceremony was cancelled after big names vowed to boycott the show in support of the current writers' strike in the U.S.

Instead, the winners were announced at a low-key, untelevised press conference.

Whilst Keira Knighley and co-star James McAvoy lost out for their roles in Atonement, fellow Brits Daniel Day-Lewis and Julie Christie scooped Best Actor and Best Actress respectively, and Atonement won for Best Picture.
