The former American Football star was forced to return from Vegas from Miami by a bail bondsman over allegations he phoned a witness in the case.
Under the terms of his bail from the charges relating to an incident in a Las Vegas hotel room last September, Simpson is forbidden from contacting any witnesses.
He must now await a hearing on Wednesday, when he faces having his bail revoked.
