Britney Spears returned to Los Angeles in typical fashion after a whirlwind trip to Mexico with her lover Adnan Ghalib.

The troubled popstar was pictured puffing away on an inhaler behind the wheel of her car after spending just seven hours in Mexico.

Complete with pink wig and glasses, Spears also wore a jacket emblazoned with the legend 'F**k Off Lover Boy'.

Did she have a row in Mexico, or is she just sending a subtle message to ex-hubby Kevin Federline?
