Coroner Left Puzzled Over Donda West Death

Donda West, mother of rapper Kanye West, died of a “coronary artery disease” and “multiple post-operative factors,” a Los Angeles coroner revealed yesterday.

TMZ obtained the report which details factors contributing to the 58-year-old’s death - concluding that "the final manner of death could not be determined."

"Multiple post-operative factors could have played a role in the death” the coroner said in a statement.  “The exact contribution of each factor could not be determined. There was no evidence of a surgical or anesthetic misadventure."

West , who underwent ‘numerous’ plastic surgery procedures including liposuction and mammoplasty, died on November 10 in Centinela Freeman following a frenzied 911 call from her family.

The coroners report goes on to claim that Donda opted to recover at home and left the clinic just 5 ½ hours after undergoing surgery.

"She opted to return to her home for care even though she was advised that she receive post-operative care at another facility,” the report continues. 

West’s plastic surgeon – who received intense media scrutiny following her death – has also spoken out about the accuracy of the autopsy.

"What came out of the autopsy released today was exactly what I thought was going to be reported," Adams told Extra. "Out of respect for Kanye West's family, I want to honor the doctor patient confidentiality agreement."
