Jessica Simpson is staying away from her American football star boyfriend Tony Romo’s big game on Saturday – after being branded a jinx on his team's performance.
Romo's Dallas Cowboys take on the New York Giants in a crucial play-off match, which would edge the winner a step closer to the Super Bowl in Arizona on 3 February.
However, Jess will not be cheering her man on from the sidelines this time round.
Her spokesperson Cindy Berger tells the New York Post: "She is not attending. She is working on a new album. She will be watching from home and cheering him (Romo) on."
Romo has under-performed at previous games attended by his girlfriend - prompting his teammates to joke that she should stay away.
