Mariah Carey has hit back at reports that she is feuding with rival diva, Jennifer Lopez.

Mariah had been quoted as saying as that pair would never collaborate – because the Hero singer would rather "rather be on stage with a pig" than duet with J.Lo.

However, Mariah insists that the quote did not come from her, telling People that it is "a complete untruth."

She adds: "This is just some Internet gossip and it's pathetic that people actually entertain the thought that this could be real.

"This is another sad example of two strong women being pit against each other."
