Britney Spears celebrated her shock release from hospital with a champagne breakfast, it’s claimed.

The troubled pop star was reportedly able to leave her Beverly Hills’ home unnoticed by the hoards of paparazzi outside and escape to a restaurant in Palm Desert with photographer boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib.

According Norm Clarke's Vegas Confidential column, Brit and Ghalib enjoyed a boozy breakfast at the Daily Grill at around 11am on Sunday morning.

The singer was allegedly seen "celebrating her [hospital] release with a mimosa champagne" cocktail during the meal, and even "went to the restroom with her champagne flute while [Ghalib] stood outside the door," Clarke claims.

It's thought that the couple later holed up together at Shutters Hotel in Santa Monica.
