Amy Winehouse is not to face criminal charges following her questioning by police last month.
Police have reportedly found no evidence the singer attempted to pay a man £200,000 after being allegedly attacked in a pub.
Winehouse, 24, who also had her home raided by the police, was quizzed under caution - but according to a report in today’s press she will not face any charges relating to perverting the course of justice.
A source tells the News Of The World, “The evidence-building is purely circumstantial at this stage and is not enough to charge Amy with anything.
"If she did give money to her husband, this is not a criminal offence and is not enough to prove she was involved in a conspiracy. Unless new evidence comes to light it is likely the case against her will be dropped."
Winehouse’s husband Blake Civil-Fielder is currently in remand awaiting assault charges relating to the incident.
