Pamela Anderson Divorce Going Ahead

Pamela Anderson is still proceeding with her divorce from husband of two months, Rick Soloman, despite insisting in public that the couple are trying to save their marriage.

The former Playboy model filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences on December 14 but announced on her blog that the pair were “working things out."

In spite of the apparent change of heart, Entertianmentwise reported yesterday how hubby Rick was notably absent as Pam partied her way into the New Year.

And, behind the scenes, the divorce is very much on track.

According to court documents, Pam’s attorney filed a proof of service of summons on December 28 in L.A. Superior Court, which stated that Rick had in fact been served with divorce papers on December 15.

Her most recent blog also suggests that the magician’s assistant has cut the poker pro/sex tape star out of her life:

"My kids and I had a great new years in Vegas!
They loved the fireworks and hot chocolate at midnight.
Mommy made it home by 1:30am. Nice!
Now on family vacation in the snow.
We are doing great.
Getting rest and planning new year.

This will be Pam's second marriage and divorce in as many years - who'll be the lucky guy on 2008?
