Jamie Lynn Spears’ TV show Zoey 101 has reportedly been axed following news that its young star is pregnant.

Britney’s 16-year-old sister plays the lead in the Nickelodeon teen school drama, which is aimed at kids aged nine to 14.

When Jamie Lynn confirmed the baby news, Nickelodeon released a statement, saying: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation.

"We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

Now, two weeks on, speculation is growing that the show’s fourth season – which has already been filmed – will be its last.

A show insider tells The Sun: “Nickelodeon bosses are still undecided whether to air season four or not.

“For now it looks like it has been canned.”

Nickelodeon are yet to make any official announcement.
