Ashlee Simpson And Pete Wentz Deny Engagement Rumours

Ashlee Simpson and boyfriend Pete Wentz have denied reports that they are planning to tie the knot.

The engagement rumour mill kicked into overdrive when Ashlee was spotted sporting a ring on her left hand as the couple rang in the New Year at Miami's Shore Club.

Ashlee herself helped the speculation along when she used her ring finger to flip the paps as she took a stroll along Miami beach with the Fall Out Boy rocker.

But her rep tells Us mag, "Ashlee is not engaged."

Ashlee and Pete wasn't the only loved-up couple enjoying the Miami sun - we also caught Kristen Bell and new man Dax Sheppard taking their romance public for the first time.
