Adoption Official Praises 'Perfect Mother' Madonna

Madonna has been described as the "perfect mum" to Malawian tot David Banda by the adoption official overseeing the case.

The singer and her husband, Guy Ritchie, are thought to have been granted approval in December to make the two-year-old - who they brought to Britain in 2006 - part of their family.

Social worker Simon Chisdale gave the pair a glowing report after a visit to their London home earlier in the year. 

Madonna was described as "a perfect mum for David...a confident and able parent," whilst Guy was described as having formed a "warm, playful interaction" with David Banda.

The adoption could be officially granted by a Malawian court in April next year.
