Sorry girls, but Leon Jackson says has no time for romance following his shock X Factor win.
Despite rumblings of a possible relationship between the 18-year-old Scot and fellow contestant Emily Biggs from girl band Hope, Leon says he doesn’t want the “distraction” of a girlfriend.
He says, “I don't think I'm going to get distracted with a lady companion. There's no time for nothing like that. Any time you get off you just need to sleep.”
As far as Leon’s concerned there’s only one woman in his life – and that’s his dear old mum, Wendy, who raised him on her own.
“This will allow me to look after her,” he says of his new £1 million recording contract.
Leon is set to be named Christmas Number One today with his debut single ‘When You Believe’.
