Now Britney's Cousin Alli Wants Pop Career

Just as you thought things couldn’t get any worse for the Spears family, Britney’s cousin has announced she wants to be “the next Norah Jones”!

Alli Sims, who is also Britney's sometime personal assistant, has waxed lyrical in an interview with a German magazine about how she is planning to launch an all-out assault on the pop charts by launching a singing career.

She expands, “I wanna be the next Norah Jones. I just wanna be on stage and sing blues. If I were a product, I would be Louis Vuitton. Classic, tasteful, timeless."

As Britney’s PA bags obviously feature high in Alli’s psyche.

However, Sims’ has shown she’s not totally stupid by stating she will eschew Britney’s ‘help’ in trying to achieve her pop dream.

“When I make it as a singer, I will have made it on my own,” she states. “The people who help me with my career right now, I have met without Britney and that's good.

"I wanna make it on my own. I don't want her to help me.”
