Hollywood star Renee Zellweger has launched a scathing attack on the headline-hitting “party girls”.

The Oscar-winning actress believes the much-publicised LA party-scene – led by stars such as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears - denigrates those who are forging a ‘real’ career in Tinseltown.

She fumes, “I can't bear that scene. People work so hard to get where they are in this business, so it makes me angry when I see someone making a mockery of what we do, just trying to make five bucks."
