Kate Hudson has spoken publicly about her feelings for ex-boyfriend Owen Wilson following his reported suicide attempt in August.

The pair's split and Kate's subsequent relationship with actor Dax Shepard were blamed by some for Owen's hospitalisation.

But the actress insists they pair are still close - and that she will always be fond of Owen, who is now  on the road to recovery.

She says:"Owen is such a lovely person, and I love him dearly. And I wish him beautiful things - health and everything that he desires in life."
