Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has reportedly forked out $4 million for a New York penthouse.

Located in the exclusive SoHo district, the 18-year-old’s star's luxury new apartment boasts two-bedrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows and multiple bathrooms, as well as access to a 50ft swimming pool, sauna and steam room and "hotel-like" services.

Radcliffe plans to move a New York move just before the Broadway run of Peter Schaffer's hit play Equus - in which Radcliffe strips off nude -starts in September 2008.

In the meantime the barely legal actor, who is worth over $50 million, will be letting the property for a mere $20,000 per month.
