Celine Dion looked like she could do with a few months off to recover as she played her final Las Vegas show after a five-year run on Saturday.
The My Heart Will Go On singer was skin and bones in her pale blue gown as she bid an emotional farewell to fans at the end of her $400m-grossing A New Day tour.
Celine wept several times during the concert and called the experience a "wonderful adventure".
She said: "It's hard to believe that we've come to an end. It was a wonderful adventure. It was an emotional night. It was a wonderful adventure."
Speaking of the bad reviews the show had received, the 39-year-old star admitted: "At one point, I felt like the Titanic was about to sink again. But we believed and we went on with it."
After the Canadian pop star performed her final song, she was joined on stage by husband René Angelil and her six-year-old son René-Charles, as rose petals raining down from the ceiling.
After a short break – and hopefully as few square meals - Celine will back for a world tour in February 2008.
Bette Midler will take over her residency at Caesars Palace.
